Installation
guide

An interdisciplinary work, Jardins suspendus merges contemporary dance, aerial dance on a wall and interactive installation. Focusing on human connection, this work proposes an encounter with the other and his environment through the poetry of movement.

Take the time to observe and listen to this new environment.

Interact with these elements (you may need collaborators)

Keep walking under the branches: there are about thirty possible encounters, including several QR codes like this one, all different from each other.

Look for braids and copper buttons.

Open your senses to discover the impact of your encounter with the structure

A cultural mediator is also present to accompany you in your experience and share your thoughts. Don't hesitate if you have any questions.

We wish to acknowledge that the space on which we offer Jardins Suspendus has been a meeting place for thousands of years. That it is an unceded territory that many indigenous peoples have occupied and that it has been a public place in the original sense of the word: a space that belongs to the people: to all peoples. We are grateful that this project is being hosted on this territory and we hope that Jardins Suspendus will be guided by the values of respect, openness and discovery towards all communities.

This immersive experience unites the two worlds of co-artistic directors and choreographers Geneviève Lauzon and Claire Jeannot.

We would like to thank all the collaborators who shared their universe with us to enrich this project. As well as all our partners who have placed their trust in us for this creation.
